I received alot of help this weekend from family...thanks mom and Debbie. I have had alot on my plate the last couple of weeks. But it just got eased alot by family. We spent the weekend crafting. It was alot of fun, and they turned out so cute. We made these centerpieces for a teacher appreciation luncheon ( spooky soups theme) It was fun just visiting, staying up late talking and just working together. Thanks so much everyone for your help. I think Daisy is ready for halloween!

Coolest thing ever!!!

Yesterday, Jaclyn's brother RJ flew to CA (he works for an airlines) He and his girlfriend Christina flew to CA to meet Elder Page. I say meet literally, they have never met before. He returned from his mission this past June. They took Elder Page and Elder Ji out to lunch and took them grocery shopping and then flew home. Can you believe that. That is the kindest gesture ever! What a cool way to meet someone for the first time. RJ your the best...thank you!

"The Worth of Souls is Great"
Elder Page has had a terrific week. The weather is cooling down, "great tracting weather". He had what he calls a proud moment this week. One of his investigators, who is rather quiet, and it was the first time that they had attended all 3 meetings, shared some thoughts in Gospel Essentials class this past sunday. "He talked for probably 3 minutes and as every second passed my initial dropped jaw turned into the biggest smile ever. I am so proud of him and his wife, they are just doing so well and are seeing just how much the gospel can bless their lives. It's moments like this that make all the slammed doors worth it. If just one person opens their heart to the spirit of our message and in turn, comes closer to their Savior Jesus Christ, it's all worth it because "the worth of souls is great in the sight of God".

Fun Weekend !
Wow, we had a busy weekend! Friday night was the Nationwide 300...yes after living here for 11 years I went to a race! Now I can say that I have done that. My friend Kristalyn. who is a big race fan invited Tory and I to go with her and her son Bailey. Steve came along at the last minute. I must admit I still done't get it, but there were parts of it that were exciting. Just not hours and hours and hours of it at a time...sorry race fans.
Tory had a soccer game Saturday. They won again YEA, 2-0. He has been plying with an injury and still doing a good job. He played the entire game this week.
Uncle Scott and cousins, Brandon, Will, Jordan and Carson came up for the weekend. We really do enjoy having them visit. They don't get to see enough of each other. While here they spent Saturday night at Scarowinds. They had a lot of fun hanging out. Scott you are a great uncle to take 11 teenagers alone for the evening. Thanks for making the trip!
Steve and I attended a Baptism. We had 2 sisters get baptised. It was a wonderful event. Speaking of baptisms. Lisa Bell called me this week ( on of Dallin's investigators) She is so excited for her families baptism. She kept saying how happy Dallin is for them as well. She said that he is working hard and doing wonderful things there in Irvine. Lisa thanks for taking good care of our m

8 Months to the day!
"It was 8 months to the day that I was walking into the MTC not having any clue what I was getting into or what I was doing". Yes it is crazy how quickly time passes. Look at him now, "a little more seasoned", but Dallin said, "enough about that as President Monson said "if we fill our minds with nothing but thoughts of wonderful tommorows, we'll be left with a lot empty yesterdays". Conference was great, they had investigators in 3 of the 5 sessions. He had lots of favorite speakers, as I'm sure a lot of us did. He is so great to hear the joy in his letters. He is doing so well. He sends his love to all.
What a beautiful fall weekend
What a wonderful weekend. The weather was beautiful! I just love fall. But the best part of it was General Conference. It was so good to hear from our Prophet Pres. Monson, all of the other Apostles and more. We were all together all weekend, that alone makes for a great weekend, but you throw in conference and it's fabulous. We all feel ready to take on the world again. Saturday evening was the Priesthood session I could not help but take a picture of some my priesthood holders heading off to conference. Are they not handsome!

Small world after all
"We just had the missionaries in our ward over for dinner tonight. Seems to be one of the elders knows you. He just about pooped his pants when he made the connection that you are Greg's uncle. He LOVES you and has a lot of respect for you. He wanted to take these pictures and made sure that we send them to you. "
Is this a small world or WHAT???
So this is Elder Pages's new companion Elder Ji. Elder Page being the big kid he is with the kids. It wasn't that long ago that he would dress up like a super hero. I guess he is being a "Super Hero" right now as a missionary huh!

Soccer 1-0 win over North Meck
Yeah! It was rainy, cold and windy but inspite of the weather, Robinson finally beat N. Meck. Dallin's team came close even tied with them once, so this was a big deal to the school. The crowd was big and loud, and at the end of the game they ran out onto the field to celebrate with the team. Great job boys! Grandma Myra and Grandpa Lindsey and cousins, Jordan, Carson, Will and Brandon came to watch. It was fun spending time with them, thanks for your support ya'll!

New Companion
Things are a little different for Elder Page, he has a new companion. He said that he is really going to miss Elder Cunningham. His new companion is Elder Ji. He is Korean and has spent his whole mission in the Korean speaking program. He was with Elder Song ( Dallin's first companion) So Elder Song told Elder Ji about Elder Page before hand. He told Elder Ji that Elder Page was his favorite companion so far. That was very nice. So anyway, now he can practice English with Dallin. Won't be any practicing of Spanish I'm sure, but he continues in his spanish studies every day just incase...Exciting news, the Bell family has set a date for baptism. He and Elder Cunningham were so excited. So next month will be Dallin's first baptism. He is so happy for the family and has grown to love them so much!

Wet weekend for Steve
This past weekend was a Stake youth carnival. It still seems so strange that all of my kids are in the youth program, and with Steve being bishop, he gets to tag along, while I had a quiet night at home with Daisy. There were all kinds of games and food to eat. One game, "soak the bishop"...Steve said the water was so cold. He was glad that he could contribute in some way :)
This week is full of soccer games once again...All at home (tonight @ 6:30 & thurs. @ 6:30) come catch a game! This weekend is the RS Womens General Broadcast...can't wait! We are especially excited for General Conference next week. I need some rejuvenation!

Spiritual Tour Guide

As always Elder Page had a good week. He said that their ward had a FHE on Monday night. Some of their investigators came and really enjoyed it. The seminary teacher was there and invited on of their investigators to attend. So Elder Page and Elder Cunningham have been going with them. Dallin said he never thought he would get to attend seminary again, but he has loved attending with Britney and her mother. It has been a really great way to help build their testimonies. Not everyone wants to accept their message.
"I wish everyone could understand and feel what I've felt...this peace that comes from the true gospel of Jesus Christ. So many are truly searching for the truth, I just wish it were easier for people to recognize it when it's in front of them. But I guess that's why I'm out here--not to just tell people that we have the truth but to help them recognize the truth when we present it to them...Kind of like a spiritual tour guide you could say:)"
They have many that are progressing and close to baptism. He is loving the work and loving the people he is serving. Transfers are this week so we'll see if he stays in Irvine or heads somewhere else.
Thanks for the letters and prayers!
