Zach gets a new call....

We got quite the surprise on Wednesday when Steve received a call from our Stake President informing us that the first Presidency wanted to change Zach's mission call. So very late Thursday night when Steve arrived in Utah we opened it. He is now going to Sendai, Japan, leaving Jan, 26th 2011. He is excited for this assignment and is happy to serve where ever the Lord needs him.

Trip to Utah

Well its time to get another one ready to leave for a mission, so we went out to Utah to meet up with Zach to go to the temple. We had a great time catching up with lots of dear friends and meeting some of Zach's new ones. It was one of our most memorable trips to Utah. I went early than Steve and spent some time with my dear friend Becky. We had so much fun together (we always do) just wish we could do it more often. Zach and Jordan enjoyed introducing us to their fabulous life at BYU. They love it there, which makes me sooo happy. The highlight of the trip was taking Zach to the temple. It was beautiful!!!! And what a sweet reunion it was to have so many that we love there. I look forward to another trip, but this one will be most memorable.
We met up with Zach, Kirby and Jordan and we took them shopping with us. As you can see they had fun :)

I had a great time with Becky. She has built a beautiful new home and we had fun shopping for that.
Some of Zach's friends, Allysia, Marrissa, and his roommate Conner.
Zach and Jordan took us all over campus. We met Mckenna and her sister Meagan at the Creamery!

Jaewon Song, one of Dallin's mission companions from Korea. We loved getting to know him. He is a really nice guy!

This was one of the most memorable days I have ever had :)
What a wonderful reunion we had at the temple
Carson & Brooke Gillett, Steve & I, Chase Burk, Derek Slauson, Zachary, Andrew Hutchins, Conner (Zach's roommate) Latchezar & Molly Gudjenov, not pictured Nolan Jenkins (left to get his wife Chela,to meet us for lunch)
and my niece Laurie, and also Jacob Peacock they left right after. We had a great big group hug in the temple, doesn't get much sweeter :)
Mt. Timpanogos Temple is beautiful!
Lunch at Cafe Rio! I love that place. We had to sit outside in the cold, but we were laughing so much it kept us warm, well some of us anyway (all the girls were cold)
Zach and all the missionaries poked fun at each other all day. Zach called this group the desperates :0

and this group the marrieds!

Elder Page Loved General Conference

Matthew where are you....He is still in Tucson with Elder Miller. It has been a struggle at times, but he says he knows that the Lord knows what is best for him and he just does the best he can while doing it. They had a baptism last week, and have another one coming up soon. It has been quite the struggle to find people who are interested in listening to them. He has asked for our prayers on this matter. So when on your knees remember Elder Page and Elder Miller. Other wise he is doing great. Still smiling and so positive. He is sad to be missing the wedding next month, but is sooooo happy for Jaclyn and Dallin. He says that he will just have to look forward to his big day. He sends his love to all and thanks everyone for all the letters and support.

BYU Bros

Zach and Jordan are having a great time at BYU. They love, I mean LOVE their roommates. They call each other Bros. I am so glad to know that they are enjoying school and all that comes with it. I can not wait to go out next week to see Zachary and go through the temple. We are going to have so many friends there with us. Can't wait for pictures!

Family Gatherings...aren't they great!

Sunday the family gathered at Mom's. Laurie & Jared were in town with their two cute little kids, Eli and Sydney. I did not even get pictures of them or any of the kids. They were busy playing all over the house and outside. It was so good to see them. It had been much to long for us. Laurie is going to meet us in Utah next week and go with us to the temple with Zach. I am so looking forward to that. I did not get pictures of everyone, we had a few missing, but it was so good to get together. We need to do that monthly atleast at a different home each time!. Sound great guys how about it!
