The Wedding!!!

What a beautiful day...my heart is busting at the seams, and I can not wipe the smile off of my face!!! What a blessing it is to see your children happy. Dallin & Jaclyn are the sweetest couple and it makes me happy to see how much they love each other, and to know that they are sealed for eternity. They have a sweet story to write together and I can't wait to read it. Always be happy like you are today...and your love will continue to grow and bloom...into grandbabies...I have to admit I can't wait!

A very Happy Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving was a little different than those passed. This year was a "Rehearsal Dinner" that fell on Thanksgiving. All of Jaclyn's family and our family and the Mitchells were in attendance. It was all so good! Thanks to David Thornock the ribs were Perfect and so was everything else. Everything about this wedding has gone so smoothly. I guess because it is a perfect combination...Jaclyn & Dallin :) We loved having the Schultz's with us and getting to know them better. It was truly a wonderful weekend. After dinner we all drove to Columbia SC so that we could be there bright and early in the morning for their Temple Sealing. Thanks to everyone for the support and love for these two wonderful people. We have sooooo much to be thankful for our hearts are swelling with love for those around us and for those who are far away. Although as you can see we had Matthew there with us :) We missed having him here, but we could feel of his spirit and love. I could not ask for any more than what we have been blessed with. I love my family! We cleared out the livingroom furniture to make room for everyone to eat.
So glad to have everyone here with us.
Ben was our photographer for the weekend. Thank goodness the pictures will be better than what I could ever do! Thanks so much Ben!

Our Elder Page is onto another transfer. He actually stay there in Tucson, but got a new companion, Elder Carter straight from the MTC. Elder Page is now a trainer, won't he be a great one! He is excited about his new assignments and has been working really hard. The work has picked up a bit. He asked for everyones prayer in their behalf. He is so excited about the up coming wedding and can't wait to receive LOTS of pictures. We have actually made a blown up version of Elder Page so he will be there...well sortof anyway :) I love waking up every morning and seeing his sweet face. We are so very thankful for Matthew and his tireless service, and his wonderful example. What a great family I have!

Transfers

You know being on a mission sure brings with it lots of opportunity for growth. The last couple of transfers have been packed with those opportunities for Elder Page. This week transfers were up again...Well lets just say that Elder Page has been ready for it for a while now. He stayed in the same area of Tucson, but his companion was transfered. Elder Page has been given the opportunity for some great experiences, to lead out and finally have someone who wants to be there and work hard. He is now training. Having a new Missionary is just what the doctor ordered. I could feel the joy and excitement in his letter this week, not one of frustration. I can't wait to hear from him next week just to feel of his spirit and all that they are doing. Yeah, thank you for answering so many prayers Heavenly Father. Miracles are on their way I can feel it. Last night Sister Walker called me to get some information for Matthew. She spoke such kind words for Elder Page, you could feel the love that she has for him. That sure makes a mom happy. Go get em Elder Page! Matthew was given a little party by two other Elders there in the District. I can't believe he is 20 already.

Another Day at the Temple

This past weekend we had the priviledge of joining Jaclyn and Dallin in the Washington DC temple. What a wonderful day it was. Jaclyn went through for the first time. So many wonderful memories came back to me about my first day at the temple and also my wedding day. My memories were so vivid that it brought tears to my eyes. So glad that we were able to share this day with her and Dalllin and also Jaclyn's parents, Ray and Dawn. Just a few more weeks till the big day. I can hardly wait! "It's a Wonderful Life"
