Last night was our ward activity. The theme was March Madness. We all came out ready to take each other on in basketball...atleast the men were. The RS had to be pryed off the wall to play against the YW (me included! there were only 5 of us who played. that just doesn't seem right out of the whole ward does it!) The RS played the YW. The YW literally scratched and clawed their way to a win. I was just glad when it was over. I am not sure if we really ever got started there were sooo many jump balls. The YM had an exciting game against the Elders. You know all the Elders were out to prove to themselves that they still have game, but the YM pulled ahead in the end to win. YEAH YM!!!
(Here are a few pictures from the night)
Matt and Zach did a great job considering they are soccer players not b'ball players.
Tory took a minute to coach his dad on the sideline.
The bench ready to sub in at any moment. (Isn't he cute!)
After our lose to the YW. Regina, Me and Gina (you can tell how upset we were over our lose)
Another teammate...Me and Tracie
Teammate....Me and Heidi. We did have fun!
Tory liked his view from the crowd and drinking his Sprite Zero.
The missionaries did a great job referring.
Look at them all ready to do their job as refs.
The Missionaries were the referees. Elder Dees kept forgetting that he was a referee and would just laugh and forget to make a call. He was pretty funny. Elder Slauson took his job seriously...even throwing out a technical against my son Zach. It was all in fun they were messing with each other.
Matt all ready to take on the Elders
Bishop Page played with the YM of course. Zach had a great defensive game.
Bishop Page was already to show everyone that he still has it!
On the way to the activity.
